X5 Solar Flare of April 6 2001


The following charts show the strong signals at 144 MHz produced by the Class X5 flare which occured on April 6, 2001 as recorded in Ocean View Hawaii.  The radiotelescope is a simple adding type interferometer with about 63 wavelength spacing between the 5 element yagi antennas.  This flare came on the heals of a super X20 flare that occured on April 2.

Full day scan, actually begins on April 5 and ends on April 7, 2001.
