Panoramic View of the Big Dipole Array at the UFRO

This stitched collection of images was taken in the approximate center of the 240 dipole array at the University of Florida Radio Observatory.  Unfortunately, the array is no longer being used, but it remains an impressive sight.  The small white boxes contain phasing cables and power dividers. The larger house-like structures contain Butler Matrices and other distribution equipment.  The humans in the picture are from left to right Francisco Reyes (Astronomer), Dick Flagg (Astronomer), Wes Greenman (Engineer), and Matt Reyes (Student).
