The Radio Sky CDROM I

We have filtered through thousands of pieces of publicly available software and extracted the cream of those which we felt would be useful to amateur radio astronomers. There are schematic programs, electronic design utilities, source code collections. There is an array of FITs files and programs to allow you to view astronomical images in the format used by professional observatories. If you are not from the Unix world you are going to love having Ghostscript to view all of those postscript files. The pulsar sound files are there as are the images from our old FTP site. We have assembled a collection of publicly available catalogs from the internet for those who do not have net access or can't afford hundreds of hours of download time. Some of the radio source catalogs have been converted to Microsoft Access database and Microsoft Excel files to allow you to manipulate and view them. This project took weeks of work and will save you much time.

In addition, there is a version of our website right on the CDROM with all of the information files and pictures you find on our website. Now you can show your non-net friends what they are missing. (Note we don't try to sell our products on the CDROM. All of the books and ordering pages have been removed.)
